Concrete

No. We pour flat slabs driveways, patios, walkways. A patio that sits against your house is fine, because that’s a slab, not a foundation. But foundations, footings, and any load-bearing work on the house itself aren’t something we do.

Yep. A patio slab that abuts the back wall is normal work and we do it regularly. Just so it’s clear that’s a slab sitting next to the house, which is a completely different thing from foundation work.

No, We keep it to standard concrete for driveways, patios, and walkways. No stamped patterns, no color, no decorative finishes.

Our clay. It swells when it’s wet and shrinks when it dries, and that constant movement is brutal on any slab that wasn’t prepped for it. Proper base, the right reinforcement, and well-placed control joints are what keep a slab from cracking randomly in a season or two.

They’re the lines you see cut into a slab. Concrete’s going to move no matter what, so control joints tell it where to crack along a clean, planned line instead of wandering across the surface. On DFW clay, they’re not optional.

Where the load calls for it   especially driveways carrying vehicle weight. A walkway doesn’t need the same steel as a driveway, so we match the reinforcement to what the slab actually has to handle.

It does. Texas summer heat makes concrete cure faster, and if the pour isn’t managed for that, the surface can crack. Concrete poured in July gets handled differently than concrete poured in November we plan the pour around the weather instead of treating every day the same.

Depends on the job and the weather at the time concrete needs time to cure, and a driveway carrying vehicle weight needs longer than a walkway. We’ll give you a straight answer on timing for your specific pour and the season it’s going in.

Our workmanship warranty covers roofing, so it doesn’t extend to concrete or other landscaping work and we’d rather tell you that straight than dance around it. What you get instead is the job done right the first time by people who know the ground it’s sitting on.

Just DFW, and only for homeowners. That’s our patch, and knowing the local soil and weather is a big part of why our concrete holds up.

Simple. Straightforward. No surprises.

Four steps. One crew. Your home treated right.
