Tired of Losing to Your Lawn?

Keeping grass alive in DFW is basically a part-time job. Water restrictions cap your irrigation days, summer bakes whatever survives, and clay soil fights you the whole way. Artificial turf skips all of it a green yard, none of the wrestling.

What TerraTop Does

1. Full lawn replacement.

We pull the grass that’s been giving you trouble and replace the whole yard with turf. You get an even, finished lawn that looks the same in July as it does in March.

2. Ground prep and drainage.

This is the part that decides whether the job holds up. We assess every yard on its own some need a full compacted base, others need less depending on grade and what’s already under there. No cookie-cutter approach, because no two yards are the same.

3. Turf sourcing.

Buy your own turf and we’ll install it, or we’ll place the order for you and handle it end to end. No markup games either way whatever’s easier on your end.

4. Clean edges and seams.

This is where a turf job visibly succeeds or fails. We keep the seams tight and the edges crisp so it reads as one lawn, not a patchwork.

5. Pergolas.

A bit of shade over your patio or seating area which, come a Texas August, is less a nice-to-have and more a survival tool. Gives you a reason to be outside when the sun’s doing its worst.

6. Outdoor kitchens.

A built-in spot to cook, prep, and hang out counters, storage, and room for the grill so you’re not running back and forth to the house every five minutes.

7. Garden borders and edging.

Stone or metal edges that define your beds and keep mulch and soil where they belong, instead of washing across the lawn every time it storms.

Why Drainage Matters on DFW Clay

Water has to have somewhere to go under the turf, or it pools and turns your yard into a sponge. Clay soil won’t drain on its own it holds water like a bowl. So we plan the drainage before anything gets laid, not after you notice a soggy corner.

What You Stop Dealing With

  • Mowing
  • Watering
  • Fertilizing
  • Weed control
  • Brown patches in August

Straight Talk: Turf Gets Hot

Let’s be honest with you. Artificial turf gets hot in direct DFW summer sun noticeably hotter than natural grass. Shaded areas stay fine. Full-sun areas get warm enough to notice barefoot in July and August. A quick rinse with the hose cools it right back down. Worth knowing before you decide where it goes.

The Upside

Green year-round,
no watering.

Same color in the dead of August as the middle of spring, and you never drag out a hose to keep it that way.

Works within DFW
water restrictions.

No irrigation days to keep track of, because there’s nothing to irrigate.

Drainage planned for
clay soil, not ignored.

We figure out where the water goes up front, so it doesn’t pool on you later.

Flexible on turf sourcing
your product or ours.

Bring your own or let us order it. Either way, no markup shell game.

How much does it cost?

Depends on your yard the size, how much ground prep and drainage it needs, and which turf product goes down. We come out, look at the actual space, and give you a clear number before anything starts.

Simple, because it should be.
