Drainage

It’s a perforated pipe laid in a gravel-filled trench and buried. Water in the soil works its way into the gravel, enters the pipe, and gets carried off to a lower point. That’s the whole trick.

Usually it comes down to grade and where the water’s coming from roof runoff, the slope of your lot, or a low spot that catches everything. DFW clay makes any of those worse because it barely absorbs water to begin with.

We handle yard drainage moving standing water out of the yard and routing roof runoff away from where it’s collecting. Work directly against or under the structure isn’t something we take on. Wanted to say that plainly rather than dance around it.

To a lower point on your property, let out as surface runoff. We work that out during planning, before anything gets dug, there’s no mystery about where it ends up.

Yes it just means opening the ground back up to get the pipe in. That’s why it’s cheapest to run while hardscaping, walkways, or turf work is already underway and the ground’s open anyway.

Depends on the length of the run, the type of system, and how much ground has to be opened up. We come out, look at the yard, and give you a clear number before anything starts.

Simple. Straightforward. No surprises.

Four steps. One crew. Your home treated right.
